Common questions

What’s free, and what does the unlock add?

Scripture Loop Kids is free: every verse, Loop, the Bible reader, the lessons, the games for each day’s verse, and the camp and garden. A one-time purchase adds the extras for good: Explorer’s arcade games, Echo, and the Challenges, four more Explorer color themes, and more things for the buddy to wear. When your child taps an extra, their buddy asks for a grown-up; the purchase is behind the grown-ups question. You can also unlock it, or leave an optional tip, in Settings, then Grown-ups.

We got a new iPhone or iPad. How do we get the unlock back?

Open Scripture Loop Kids, go to Settings, then Grown-ups, and tap Restore purchase. The unlock comes back on any device signed in with the same Apple ID.

How do I move my child’s progress to a new device?

Progress is saved only on the device. In Grown-ups, tap Export to save a backup file (to Files, AirDrop, or email), then open the app on the new device and tap Import.

Which look should I choose?

Sunny is for ages 3 to 5: big buttons, a garden that grows, and set verses. Explorer is for 6 and up: a trail map, challenges, a Bible reader, and Base Camp. You can switch any time in Grown-ups; progress stays the same.

The verses won’t play.

The recordings download the first time each one plays, so the device needs an internet connection then. After that they play offline. Check that the volume is up and that Sounds is on in Grown-ups.
