Privacy Policy
Scripture Loop Kids · Last updated October 22, 2026
In short: Scripture Loop Kids has no accounts, no ads, no tracking, and no analytics. Your child’s name, buddy, progress, and settings stay on your own device. We don’t collect any personal information from children (or from you), and we don’t sell or share any.
This policy covers the Scripture Loop Kids app for iPhone and iPad. It explains what happens to information when your family uses it. It’s written with the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and Apple’s Kids category rules in mind.
What stays on your device
Everything in the app is saved only in the app’s storage on your device: the first name or nickname your child types in, the buddy they pick, their stars, verses learned, badges, camp or garden, notes and highlights in the Bible reader, and settings. It isn’t sent to us, and we have no copy of it. The name is only used to greet your child in the app.
Deleting the app removes it. If you export a backup from the Grown-ups area, that file is yours to keep wherever you choose.
Audio
Bible verses are read from the Berean Standard Bible narration on OpenBible.com. To play a recording, the app downloads it, and like any download, OpenBible.com’s servers receive your device’s IP address and which chapter was requested. Nothing about your child is sent with it. Recordings are kept on the device so they can play offline later. All other sounds are part of the app.
Purchases
Scripture Loop Kids is free; a one-time purchase adds extra games, colors, and things to wear, and tips are optional. Every purchase sits behind a grown-ups question, and all payments are handled by Apple through the App Store. We never see your name, Apple ID, or payment details.
To know whether the app is unlocked, it asks the App Store directly, on your device. No other company is involved, and nothing about purchases is sent to us.
For grown-ups only
Purchases, backups, and settings like the child’s name and look are in the Grown-ups area, behind a question young children can’t easily answer. The app has no links out to websites, no sharing to social media, and no chat or messaging.
